Passfindr Offline Decryption and Encryption Utility


Usage

  1. Open a backup copy of your bookmarks with a plain text editor.
  2. Locate the entry or entries which need to be decoded using the find function of the text editor.
  3. Copy one or more entries including curly brackets and paste them into the input field below.
  4. Enter your Master Password (required only if entries contain encrypted descriptions).
  5. Click the Decode button. The decoded entries appear in the text area below.

This utility does not need a network connection to the server and works without an internet connection. No data will be sent over the internet or leaves the browser.

You may enter arbitrary text above and use this utility to encrypt any text with a password of your choice. The encrypted message is safe to transmit over an insecure data medium such as email, instant messaging, text message/SMS, file upload to cloud storage, or portable mass storage (e.g. flash drive).
