Passfindr has an integrated random password generator built into the text editor so you don’t have to leave what your doing to create a new password. With your cursor inside the text editor (the “Description” box) just click on the “key” emblem (shown in red) in the editor ribbon and you will get a drop-down menu.
Passfindr’s weak password is stronger than the vast majority of passwords however, you have two additional options for creating more complex passwords and remember, a complex password is better and a much more complex password is much better. As soon as you click one of these options, your generated password will appear.
With respect to the “custom password” option, you can go to “Preferences” and click on the “Security” tab and you will find an area where you can specify what you want your custom password to have. You can choose the number of characters you wish it to have, and what characters groups to use or exclude. Then when you hit “custom password” in the future, you will get a complex password that fits YOUR specifications.
